We are proud to announce the appointment of Nathan Cherpin as Regional Sales Manager: this appointment recognizes a career path marked by commitment, resilience, and a strong ability to create synergies between sales and operational teams. In this interview, Nathan Cherpin looks back on the key stages of his career, the lessons that have shaped him, and his vision for regional development within Althéa.
What does this appointment as Regional Sales Manager mean to you?
This appointment represents, above all, the culmination of the efforts made over the past few years. It is also a recognition from the members of the executive committee, whom I thank for the trust they have placed in me.
Beyond the symbolic aspect, this role allows me to continue developing the regions in a broad sense across the entire national territory and to sustainably strengthen relationships with our clients. It is part of a collective growth dynamic, built on the continuity of the work already undertaken.
What key moments have shaped your career leading up to this appointment?
My career has been particularly marked by more complex periods. I started in an unfavorable macroeconomic context, which quickly pushed me out of my comfort zone. These difficult times were extremely formative.
I learned a lot from failures, sometimes more than from successes, because they led me to question myself, refine my pitch, and strengthen my sales approach. Successes were then the direct consequence of these lessons.
One mission in particular stood out to me: a project led for a major international client in a demanding context, notably involving exchanges in English. This project, conducted in collaboration with the Paris teams, created a real synergy between the region and Paris. It was all the more structuring because, following an initial project that was not selected, the relationship of trust established allowed us to win this new mission. This experience perfectly illustrates the importance of perseverance and the ability to bounce back.
How do you envision your first actions in this new role, and what dynamic do you wish to drive for the regions?
My first mission is to further structure the regional sales management. This involves a better understanding of regional territories and strategic accounts, whether in the South-East, South-West, or the Greater West.
A key challenge also lies in strengthening the synergy between sales and operational teams. This collaboration is essential for commercial success and, more broadly, for the sustainable development of the regions.
I also want to develop more relationships with software vendors and strengthen regional sales teams through targeted recruitment. The goal is to support controlled growth by bringing in business in a structured and sustainable manner.
Finally, the development of Bordeaux, a region that opened recently and already consists of several consultants, constitutes a strong strategic objective for Althéa as part of the NextGen trajectory.
What message would you like to send to the teams and clients in this new stage?
To the teams, I would first like to express my thanks for their trust, the quality of our exchanges, and their transparency. If I hold this role today, it is largely thanks to them and the collective work carried out daily.
To our clients, I want to reaffirm the importance of the relationships of trust we have built. As the first point of contact for many of them, I am committed to making these relationships last. My goal is to continue building, alongside them, solid and lasting partnerships based on a long-term vision.
