Three years after joining the firm, Garri Goldberg is now taking on the role of Associate Director at Althéa.
As head of the Finance, Procurement & Operations activities, he looks back on his background, his vision and the values that guide his commitment.
What does this appointment as Associate Director at Althéa represent for you?
Above all, it is a great deal of pride and recognition. This appointment gives concrete form to a commitment I made three years ago, when I joined Althéa: to fully invest myself in the firm’s development. It is also a real pleasure to contribute to a collective project, in a company where you grow as much as you commit. This recognition symbolises the trust of management and the teams, and it is extremely motivating for what lies ahead.
You joined Althéa several years ago, and you now lead the Finance, Procurement & Operations activities. What has stood out most to you in your journey?
Without hesitation: the teams’ commitment and professionalism. From the outset, I was struck by the collective momentum that drives Althéa. Together, we have built a strong practice, expanding our scope and supporting increasingly demanding clients on ever more structuring projects. What touches me particularly is the human and fair spirit that characterises our interactions. At Althéa, we speak frankly and respectfully: it is a culture of transparency and trust that enables everyone to progress. I have also been fortunate to learn a great deal alongside David Bellaïche, with whom I have worked closely. This benevolent high standard has left a deep impression on me and has helped shape the way I approach management and the development of the practice.
How are you approaching this new role as Associate Director? What is your vision for what comes next?
I see this appointment as a natural step in a journey I have been committed to for several years. With David, we organised a gradual handover to ensure seamless continuity, both in terms of results and the momentum of the activities. This smooth transition reflects the strength of our teams and their high level of commitment. My vision fully aligns with Althéa’s trajectory: to continue growing, double our headcount by 2030, improve our margins and strengthen the value delivered to our clients. We also have the ambition to position the Finance, Procurement & Operations activities among the market’s leading firms, while ensuring that our consultants feel fulfilled and motivated. Their commitment and their desire to drive our projects forward are the true engine of our success.
What message would you like to share with Althéa’s teams and clients?
First of all, a big thank you. Thank you to our clients for their trust, their high standards and their always constructive feedback. Some of them are true sponsors, and it is thanks to their support that we win new projects and continue to grow together. Thank you also to our teams for their unwavering commitment. Recent years have been marked by strong acceleration, with more projects and a high level of activity — and the results are there. Today, all indicators are green to continue our growth and strengthen our collective impact. This success is above all the result of teamwork, driven by an engaged executive committee and committed consultants who share the same ambition: to make Althéa an essential player and a humanly exemplary one.
