Interview – Steve RIVET, Engagement Manager, member of ALTHÉA’s Finance, Procurement & Operations Executive Committee

We are proud to announce the appointment of Steve RIVET to ALTHÉA’s Finance, Procurement & Operations Executive Committee. This appointment recognizes a career marked by commitment, the ability to structure and develop high-value-added offerings, and an approach based on co-construction with teams and clients.

In this interview, Steve RIVET looks back at the key stages of his career, the structuring experiences and projects that prepared him for this new responsibility, and his vision for accelerating the development of Finance, Procurement & Operations activities within ALTHÉA.

What does your appointment to the Finance, Procurement & Operations Executive Committee mean to you?

It is a mark of trust, particularly from David BELLAÏCHE and Garri GOLDBERG, in my ability to join this management team and develop the Finance, Procurement & Operations offering nationally, as well as in the West. It is also a challenge: I understand the stakes involved. This trust confirms the project for which I joined ALTHÉA and motivates me even more to take it on.

Which aspect of your professional career has particularly stood out to you, and how has it prepared you for this new role?

What truly shaped me was the opportunity I had to work for both major accounts and Middle Market companies, in France and internationally. This path aligns with ALTHÉA’s challenges and its development strategy: it’s a positioning that will clearly help me moving forward.
Throughout my experiences, I have had to address a wide range of issues: sometimes very technical transformations with IT department contacts, but also business transformations, in finance as well as operations. I therefore have a cross-functional approach, focused on the balance between organization, processes, and tools. I know how to address topics across these different aspects and manage transformation projects as a whole. This is one of my key success factors and a differentiating element in my career.

Can you give us an example of a time when you had to anticipate a complex issue or innovate in your approach to respond to a client or an internal project?

Yes. I’m thinking of an ERP scoping and selection assistance mission, with teams in France and internationally. The challenge was to meet the needs of several entities without imposing a “French model.” I therefore developed an approach adapted to local contexts to capture the needs of each entity. This required me to innovate in the approach, particularly in conducting interviews and workshops, as it was the first time I had to lead discussions in three languages simultaneously. It was also necessary to take these specificities into account when establishing the roadmap and the core model.

What will be your priorities as a member of the Executive Committee?

My priority is to contribute to ALTHÉA’s overall objectives, both internal, particularly team development and HR issues, and external. On this latter point, I want to support business development: work on go-to-market strategies, structure and evolve our offerings, and participate in animating our network of partners and clients.
