How Althéa supported Devoteam in recovering IJSS (Social Security Daily Indemnities)?

As part of a consultation, Althéa supported the Devoteam teams in recovering historical IJSS claims. Constant support was provided so that Devoteam could benefit from a rapid cash gain and regain IJSS stability post-COVID. Discover the feedback from Sylvain Pradeloux, Payroll and Personnel Administration Manager at Devoteam.

Could you introduce yourself and Devoteam?

Sylvain Pradeloux: I am Sylvain Pradeloux, Payroll and Personnel Administration Manager at Devoteam. Devoteam is a French Digital Services Company (DSC), founded in 1995, specializing in technology consulting (ICT, information systems security, cloud computing, big data) and business management. The group consists of 15 entities present in France and internationally (Asia, Middle East, United Arab Emirates, etc.), with more than 9,000 employees, including 4,200 in France.

What was the context for launching this collaboration, and how did you hear about Althéa?

Our objective was to stabilize our IJSS debt, which has been particularly impacted in recent years by the Covid crisis and the post-pandemic period. We were looking to recover as many claims as possible from the CPAMs and return to a stable financial situation in this area.

In this context, we consulted several firms, including Althéa, who approached us with a proposal tailored to our needs.

How did the service go?

The mission proceeded smoothly and very satisfactorily. The Althéa teams, led by Mr. Vernay, supported us in a clear and efficient manner, with a precise definition of the essential steps for the project’s success. In particular, they took charge of cross-referencing the various data sets required for recovery, which greatly facilitated the process.

How was the collaboration with Julien Vernay?

The collaboration with Julien Vernay was very positive. We benefited from regular support, with frequent scoping meetings, which ensured constant monitoring and good communication throughout the mission.

What were the benefits for your organization?

Althéa’s intervention relieved us of a time-consuming and complex task. Recovering IJSS, particularly due to the lack of time among internal teams, took an average of 45 minutes per file to contact the CPAM, understand the situation, and take the necessary actions. Many files were pending processing.

Thanks to Althéa’s support, we were able to recover a significant amount quickly. Furthermore, this efficiency highlighted certain non-recoverable files, due to expired deadlines or employee departures, emphasizing the importance of a rapid response to maximize the recovery rate. Building on this experience, we are studying the possibility of an ongoing service.

Insight from Julien Vernay, Associate Director at Althéa: “We greatly appreciated our collaboration with Devoteam and particularly with Sylvain Pradeloux. Regarding IJSS recovery, speed is a key factor in maximizing the success rate, which makes our IJSS recovery support a significant advantage. Indeed, depending on the case, we find that 30% to 40% of IJSS claims can be time-barred or unrecoverable, hence the importance of rapid intervention.”

In your opinion, what were the strengths of our intervention?

The main asset of Althéa was the speed of indemnity recovery. Dashboards were regularly updated and we had frequent follow-up meetings, with constant availability from the teams. Their experience was also valuable in managing our multi-entity specificity, particularly regarding creation and management on Net-Entreprises.
