To mark its 20th anniversary, Althéa is launching a brand-new podcast tracing two decades of history, transformation and human commitment.
A three-episode series, told by the firm’s two founders, David BELLAICHE and Philippe PAUWELS, who look back on the origins, the choices and the values that have shaped Althéa since 2005.
Episode 1 – The early days (2005–2010)
This first episode marks the starting point of a journey that, twenty years later, has become a benchmark in HR, finance and organisational transformation consulting.
David and Philippe share:
- their meeting and the birth of the Althéa project,
- the first challenges of creating an independent firm,
- the bold bets that shaped the company culture,
- and the first clients who believed in their vision.
Through their memories, they share an authentic account, filled with sincerity, energy and humour — a trip back to the 2000s, a time when entrepreneurship in consulting was still experienced above all as a human adventure.

Since its creation, Althéa has been built on a strong conviction: putting people at the heart of transformation.
This is the common thread running through the story of this first episode.

The “20 years of Althéa” series looks back on three key periods in the firm’s life:
- The early days (2005–2010): the creation, the first assignments and the first successes;
- Expansion (2010–2015): the firm’s growth and structuring;
- Maturity (2015–2025): consolidation, innovation and new HR and managerial challenges.
Running through it all is the ambition that has guided Althéa from day one: supporting organisations in their evolution, by combining rigour, innovation and a collective spirit.
