Having joined the firm in 2021, Justine Perron has experienced rapid advancement, progressing from senior consultant to Director of the Lyon regional office. In this interview, she reflects on the significance of this appointment, the key milestones of her career, and her vision for Althéa’s regional development.
What does this appointment as Southeast Region Director of Althéa represent for you?
This appointment is above all a recognition from Althéa’s entire executive committee and a strong mark of confidence. Having joined the firm in 2021, I have had the opportunity to advance rapidly, progressing from senior consultant to Director of the Lyon office.
This new role represents a structural challenge, which I approach with commitment and responsibility. It also reflects the confidence placed in the Lyon teams, who play a central role in the office’s development and performance.
What has stood out most to you during your time at Althéa?
Two elements have particularly stood out to me. The first is the managerial proximity that characterizes Althéa. The hierarchy, while present, remains open and accessible, fostering direct and regular exchanges with senior management. This organization contributes to establishing a lasting climate of trust.
The second element lies in the culture of initiative. Althéa actively encourages employees to propose new offerings, methodologies, or organizational structures, while providing concrete support for their implementation. This ability to evolve the firm collectively is a true differentiating factor.
Can you cite a key project from your career?
When I joined Althéa, the firm had not yet addressed the healthcare sector and did not have a dedicated offering. Drawing on my expertise in these areas, I proposed the creation of a specific offering.
This project was quickly presented to the executive committee and received close support, while being subject to high standards. It was not simply about championing an idea, but truly implementing it operationally. Today, Althéa supports hospitals and major university hospital centers, confirming the relevance of this initiative.
How are you approaching this new role and what is your vision for the Southeast region?
I approach this position with pride and humility. Regional challenges remain numerous, particularly in Lyon, where development prospects are significant. I rely on a committed team and on the experience gained alongside my predecessor, Jean-Stéphane Haddad, with whom I worked in close collaboration for several years. This dynamic is also part of close cooperation with the Paris teams, both on the business side—particularly on major strategic projects—and on capitalizing expertise and sharing best practices.
My vision is part of a collective dynamic of regional development. Although distributed across several locations, the regional teams form a coherent and united entity, particularly between Lyon, Nantes, and Bordeaux. The objective is to strengthen this regional DNA, foster inter-office synergies, and continue the structuring and growth of the Lyon office.
What are the upcoming challenges for the Southeast region?
The end of the moratorium scheduled for late 2026 represents a structural challenge for the regional organization, particularly for the finance teams. This deadline paves the way for strengthened collaboration between finance and human resources functions in the region.
It also represents an opportunity for sharing best practices and collective maturity development, in service of Althéa’s performance and organizational coherence.
What message would you like to convey to Althéa’s teams and clients?
To the teams, I would like to express my gratitude for their professionalism, commitment, and daily involvement. They are a key factor in the success and sustainable development of the Lyon office.
