Together, they decipher two central concepts: <strong>Workforce Management<\/strong> and <strong>Activity Management<\/strong>. <br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Understanding the fundamentals: Workforce Management vs. Activity Management<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Workforce Management<\/strong> aims to <strong>plan human resources according to operational needs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Activity management<\/strong>, on the other hand, consists of <strong>adapting the workload based on objectives, field conditions, and daily contingencies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>&#8220;One manages the <strong>who<\/strong>, the other manages the <strong>what<\/strong>,&#8221; summarizes Geoffroy d\u2019Argenlieu.<\/p>\n\n<p>The complementarity of the two approaches becomes evident.
