In this interview, Paul Remy looks back on the key stages of his career, the structuring projects that prepared him for this new role, and his vision for the development of Finance, Procurement &amp; Operations activities within Alth\u00e9a.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does this appointment as Director of Finance, Procurement &amp; Operations at Alth\u00e9a represent for you? <\/h2>\n\n<p>This appointment is above all a sign of trust and recognition from the teams, my peers and the Executive Committee. It is in line with my commitment within Alth\u00e9a and reflects the collective work carried out over several years around the <strong>development of Finance, Procurement &amp; Operations activities<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>It also represents an opportunity to continue, alongside Garri Goldberg and all the teams, the structuring and growth of this strategic activity, <strong>in support of our clients\u2019 transformation challenges<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which aspect of your career at Alth\u00e9a particularly stood out to you, and how did it help prepare you for this new role? <\/h2>\n\n<p>A structuring milestone in my career at Alth\u00e9a was delivering the first <strong>gap analysis<\/strong> for the <strong>SEB Group<\/strong>, carried out as part of a tender process in early 2023. This project was a real landmark, both in terms of its content and the approach adopted.  <\/p>\n\n<p>From the initial phase, we identified a blind spot in the need expressed by the client, relating to preparation for the e-invoicing reform. This analysis led us to adopt a proactive stance, by proposing <strong>support that went beyond the scope initially defined<\/strong>. A close and lasting working relationship was thus built with the client, from the commercial process onwards.   <\/p>\n\n<p>During the delivery phase, we designed a dedicated methodology, specifically developed to address this challenge, then refined through co-building with the SEB Group teams. This <strong>collaborative approach<\/strong> not only enabled us to meet the client\u2019s expectations effectively, but also to structure a <strong>methodology that is now deployed with other clients.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n<p>This project was particularly formative. It enabled me to strengthen my end-to-end view of projects, from commercial engagement through to operational implementation, and to develop my skills on the business dimension, complementing my initial engineering background. It fully illustrates Alth\u00e9a\u2019s approach: <strong>the ability to anticipate challenges, innovate in the methodologies proposed, and build long-term client relationships<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What will your priorities be as FPO Director, and how are you approaching this new role? <\/h2>\n\n<p>My priorities will focus on continuing to structure and scale up the Finance, Procurement &amp; Operations activities. This will include supporting team development, carrying out the necessary recruitment, <strong>continuously adapting our offerings to the expectations of finance leadership<\/strong>, and strengthening our market watch.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Challenges such as integrating <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> into consulting offerings, or more broadly the digital transformation and automation of finance, procurement and operations functions, will be at the heart of our work, in order to maintain a high level of relevance and competitiveness for our clients. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What message would you like to share with Alth\u00e9a\u2019s teams and clients? <\/h2>\n\n<p>First and foremost, I would like to thank the Alth\u00e9a teams for the trust they have placed in me since I joined the firm.
