Today, we invite you to discover the journey and vision of <strong>Guillaume Romet<\/strong>, Engagement Manager, who shares his experience, convictions, and passions with us. <br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A rich and varied career path<\/h2>\n\n<p>A graduate of a business school, Guillaume began his career in <strong>financial audit at a Big 4 firm<\/strong>, progressing from assignments with SMEs to major Parisian accounts. He then moved into <strong>digital transformation consulting<\/strong>, before returning for two years to a large firm.<br\/>After a <strong>six-month break in Asia<\/strong>, he decided to give his career a new direction and met David and the Alth\u00e9a team. The <strong>human values<\/strong> and <strong>corporate culture<\/strong> immediately convinced him.  <br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A passion for consulting<\/h2>\n\n<p>A specialist in <strong>finance and information systems<\/strong>, Guillaume works on assignments ranging from <strong>defining Target Operating Models<\/strong> to <strong>managing strategic projects<\/strong>.<br\/>Today, he serves as a <strong>strategic PMO<\/strong>, supporting the end-to-end structuring of a department: from annual roadmap to decision-making.<\/p>\n\n<p>But beyond technical expertise, what drives him is <strong>meeting and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds<\/strong>, understanding their challenges, and finding tailored solutions. This, in his view, is <strong>the very essence of consulting<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Alth\u00e9a spirit<\/h2>\n\n<p>Upon joining, Guillaume was struck by the <strong>friendliness and warmth<\/strong> that prevail at Alth\u00e9a:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Here, we work seriously, without taking ourselves too seriously.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>This combination of <strong>professional rigor<\/strong> and <strong>everyday ease<\/strong> perfectly reflects Alth\u00e9a&#8217;s DNA.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Alth\u00e9a difference<\/h2>\n\n<p>For Guillaume, what sets Alth\u00e9a apart is the <strong>human dimension<\/strong> and closeness in client relationships.<br\/>A concrete example: it is the <strong>consultants themselves who present their assignments<\/strong> to clients, not just the managers. This establishes a <strong>relationship of trust<\/strong> from the outset. <br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The role of the manager<\/h2>\n\n<p>Guillaume shares two essential pieces of advice for young consultants:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Remain humble and know how to listen<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cultivate curiosity and the desire to learn<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In his view, a manager must also support their teams in their development, enable them to envision their future, and build their career path.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A rewarding career<\/h2>\n\n<p>After ten years in the field, Guillaume is proud to maintain <strong>the same passion and energy<\/strong> as when he started.<br\/>His assignments, sometimes international (Brazil, Mexico\u2026), have enabled him to develop a <strong>strong capacity for adaptation<\/strong> and benefit from the richness of multicultural environments.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A sporting and team spirit<\/h2>\n\n<p>A former footballer in a sports-study program, Guillaume now practices <strong>running, cycling, and triathlon<\/strong>.<br\/>He also participates in the <strong>Odyssa charity race<\/strong>, supported by Alth\u00e9a, and remains highly involved in football, particularly through the <strong>Alth\u00e9a Football Cup 2026<\/strong>, for which he aims to &#8220;bring the cup home&#8221;!<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n<p>Through his journey and testimony, Guillaume perfectly embodies the Alth\u00e9a spirit: <strong>rigor, humanity, and passion<\/strong>.<br\/>His experience reminds us that consulting, beyond technical skills, is above all a human adventure, rich in encounters and learning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Alth\u00e9a, people are at the heart of our missions.
